Cyrrus is delighted to announce that the company’s ISO 9001:2008 accreditation has been renewed for a further year. A detailed inspection of our Quality Management System (QMS) by external assessors found that our QMS fully met the standards required.

Cyrrus works in a highly regulated environment, which requires our procedures and processes to be both robust and able to provide clear evidence of compliance with industry standards. As our business has grown over the past year, our continuous improvement process has ensured that the company’s QMS consistently met new challenges.

In 2017, Cyrrus will complete its transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard. This new standard will involve a more detailed assessment of our compliance, moving on from the ‘audit’ procedures currently used by ISO.

To complete its preparations for the new ISO standard, Cyrrus has ensured that its QMS will be an integral part of the company’s business processes: The Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle will be applied to all of our business procedures and the QMS itself. In addition, we are investing in staff training and workshops to ensure that the company and its suppliers work together to meet the new standard and deliver the benefits to our customers.
